This is a part of a book trying to explain how we look like inside. There are pieces in a dialogue about the Ego and the Superego and also we write about the Heart. At the end we write about the chakra's.
The Heart lives in the now. The Heart enjoys whatever it is doing right now. The Heart does not worry about the future or the past. It does not worry about what may come tomorrow. The Heart takes things the way they are. It accepts, seeing the uglier sides as well. This does not upset the Heart. The fact that it is living alone gives it satisfaction. In the now, the Heart can feel itself.
Living from the Heart does not mean doing nothing. You act, but you let go of the result of your actions. In a way, you could say you have no desires. You do something, you go for it, and at the same time you let go of it. If you know how to do this well, your life will be very relaxed. It is not as if you could only be happy if you obtain a certain desired result. Your gratification and satisfaction are from inside yourself.
The Heart usually applies itself for the common good. You do something everyone benefits from. You try to contribute to the whole, to society. The Heart cares a lot about itself in others. It loves itself.
Petra, tell us something about yourself. On your profile page there is a space for a biography or dreams and wishes, plus a couple of photos.
How are the books coming along. This forum might be a place to get help from other Sahaj writers.
I have had the blessing of being allowed to read this soon to be published book, "Sahaj Tree of Life." I think it will fill a gap in our collection of introductions to Sahaja Yoga. It is not just a book about the subtle system, chakras and kundalini. It is also very heartfelt, creative and inspiring.
In a conversational way and by using a dialogue between two people, it explains Sahaja Yoga in a very relevant and real world manner. Doubts and questions are raised and dealt with in a no-fuss way. The book is simple, sweet and spontaneous, so what more could we want?
I can see people getting their Self Realization by reading this book, but I can also see people being given this small book after Realization. They will say, "Yes, so simple. Now Imget it."
Beautiful! The crown of one-thousand petals atop my head are alight and dancing as fire would dance. The mission that Mother has set you on with this book is indeed a great one. It very much reminds me of the Primordial Master Laozi's Dao De Jing in how it witnesses the inner self in a very detached way.
